Model PTVS20-015C-H is capable of handling 20kA surges.
“The diode meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection requirements. It also assists in meeting IEC 61000-4-5 8/20 μs current surge requirements for lightning protection,” according to the company. “With a single device capable of handling 20 kA, a fewer number of devices can now be connected in parallel to achieve the same desired protection level.”
Stand-off (leakage 10μA) voltage is 15V, then diodes conducts (10mA) somewhere between 16 and 19V. Drop is 26V with the 20kA pulse.
Operation is across -55 to +125°C, although there is some derating above ~80°C. Breakdown voltage temperature coefficient is 0.1%/°C
