Hermit crabs typically eat pellet food that is supplemented with fruits and vegetables. Because they don’t have any external protection, shells are very important. Keep 3-5 shells available for them to move and grow into. The terrarium temperature should be 75-85 degrees during the day and 65-75 degrees at night. If you want to own more than one, leave 5 gallons of space in the tank for every two crabs you own.
