The RAC10E-K/277 family will operate from ac voltages between 85 and 305Vac 47-63Hz (100 to 277Vac 50/60Hz nominal), delivering, depending on version, a single regulated dc output of 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24V. They will also run from 120 to 430Vdc.
Consumption is 200mA at 115Vac, 100mA at 230Vac and 80mA at 277Vac.
“The parts are particularly suitable for harsh electrical environments such as in electric vehicle chargers with their over-voltage category OVC III rating up to 2,000m and operating temperature of -40 to +90°C,” according to the company.
Efficiency is up to 84%, depending on variant, allowing full load operation up to 65°C ambient from 115 to 277Vac.
Protection is included against output short-circuit, over-voltage and over-current. Isolation is reinforced to 4kVac for one minute, has 100pF capacitance and 50µA maximum leakage.
A T2A slow blow input fuse is recommended.
Industrial, audio-visual and information technology applications are addressed with IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 safety certification and compliance with OVC II up to 5,000m. ‘Class B’ EMC limits are met without external components, and the parts are ErP-compliant with no-load losses under 100mW.
MYBF is >1.7m hours at 25°C according to MIL-HDBK-217F. Warranty is three years.
