This year’s Amazon Prime Day iPad deals will heat up the summer with steep discounts on Apple’s premium tablets. Although Prime Day 2022’s date is unknown, according to Amazon’s quarterly report, the big summer sale returns to its regular July scheduling.
So if you want the best price on a shiny new Apple tablet, look out for this summer’s Prime Day iPad deals.
Prime Day shoppers can expect to see the lowest prices of the year on Apple’s family of tablets. We look forward to seeing impressive discounts on the 2022 iPad Air 5. So far, the biggest discount we’ve seen to date took $70 off the 256GB iPad Air 5. Hopefully the 64GB entry model will follow with at least a $50 price cut for Prime Day.
Naturally, the biggest discounts will go to the previous-gen iPad 4 as well as last year’s M1 iPad Pro release. And in the spirit of competition, Best Buy and Walmart are bound to offer their own iPad deals.
Prime Day iPad deals start date
Prime Day typically occurs during the second or third week of July to coincide with Amazon’s July 5 founding date. However, there have been a few exceptions to the rule.
In 2020, Prime Day was pushed back to October 13-14 due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The following year, Prime Day 2021 took place on June 21 and June 22 to kick off the summer. Although Prime Day 2022’s date remains a mystery at this time, it will arrive before we know it.
Although Prime Day 2022’s actual date is still up in the air, we expect it to take place during July. Amazon’s big savings event will likely run for 48-hours with select Prime-member only deals starting a day early.
