Qualcomm abandoned the server market four years ago after failing to make headway.
It is reported that AWS has agreed to take a look at a processor based on the Arm-based designs of Nuvia, despite AWS having its own in-house developed Arm-based processor – Graviton.
Qualcomm paid $1.4 billion for Nuvia last year. Founded by ex-Apple employees, it aimed to develop the fastest server processors on the market.
Qualcomm is now on the hunt for customers.
