Arduino Uno gives life to Lego vending machine

One commenter notes it’s a cool example of how to use a transparent screen to enhance a back display, and it using bitmap rendering to create the effect of falling bubbles along side a flashed image.


Apparently, the (128×64) screen is a 3.3V, 1.51-inch, 24PIN SPI/IIC/Parallel COG Blue PMOLED Transparent OLED Screen SSD1309. For software, they’ve used the U8g2 monochrome graphics library for embedded devices.
