GlacialPower of Taiwan has announced a 300W constant voltage led driver series that supports triac dimming.
Called GP-CVM300P-xxVH , they come in 12, 24, 36 and 48V models.
“At full load these new drivers provide active power factor correction of more than 0.94 at 230Vac,” according to the company. They deliver “power efficiency up to 92% and no-load power consumption under 0.5W at 230Vac.”
The series works with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers and can run from inputs between 200 and 264Vac -although they are specified over a narrower range.
The housing is electrically-isplated aluminium, IP67-rated, and intended for outdoor as well as indoor use.
Protections include over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature protection and over-voltage.
