Here’s to the celebration of Arduino Week 2022!

Here on Gadget Master we certainly know the worth of the powerful boards and the multitudinous projects and applications they have spawned. Check out our Arduino section, for example, to see projects ranging from gesture control of MP3 players and “keytar” MIDI controllers to speaker displays and DIY hovercrafts…

Arduino, of course, is open-source hardware (and software) and the Arduino team calculate that there are 30 million active users of the platform around the world.

The Arduino Week itself will feature seven days of online talks, interviews, announcements, product launches and presentations of projects by community members and the Arduino organisation itself. And it will be opened by a keynote speech by Fabio Violante, Arduino CEO.

Emphasising the community nature of platform, all enthusiasts – makers, artists, designers, students – are also invited to host their own local event. It’s a chance to be recognised as an ‘Official Arduino Event’ and be marked with a pin on the website map for Arduino Week.

Arduino writes:

“Every day of the week, starting on Monday 21 until Saturday 26 March, is dedicated to telling the story of the different people that make up Arduino: makers, community, education, IoT, PRO and more. The main topics are robotics, home automation, wearables, IoT, education, environment/outdoors and interactive arts.”

Find our more on the official Arduino website, where the full list of events is still being finalised.
