If metaverse is your thing, then HTC Desire 22 Pro might just be the smartphone that you are looking for.

Back then, the Desire 21 Pro is a decent choice for a mid-range smartphone that also comes with a very attractive pricing.
Fast forward to today, we now have the Desire 22 Pro staring down at us. Here’s the lowdown on it:

One year later and there’s a few changes here and there. For starters, the Desire 22 Pro now comes with a large 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS screen with an insanely high 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of protection, there’s IP67 rating which makes it dust and water resistant, as well as Gorilla Glass which gives it an all-round protection against any mishandling that might occur.
Under the hood of the Desire 22 Pro is the mid-range Snapdragon 695 chipset being paired with a fast octa-core processor, good graphics and 8GB of memory. This combination lets you run your favorite apps and games without any issues at all.
Camera-wise, the 64MP+13MP+5MP triple primary camera will be able to dish out very beautiful photos.
To complement your photo-taking adventure, we then have the 32MP selfie camera to cater for all your selfie needs.
Moving on to the storage side of things, there’s more than enough space with 128GB of internal storage. Should you need more space, just pop in a microSDXC card and you are set to go.
We then have the 4520 mAh battery supplying the necessary juice to the Desire 22 Pro which is more than enough to power up the smartphone for a good full day of usage. With fast battery charging, it will make short time of it. Then we also have wireless charging and reverse charging feature that you can make use of.
The latest Android 12 operating system will be available right out of the box which is good news indeed. Throw in the dual-sim feature and 5G capability, and you have more value inside of it.
Perhaps the highlight of the show is on the metaverse part. You can now visit metaverse communities in VIVERSE using your browser or pair the Desire 22 Pro with VIVE Flow to explore them in VR. With screen casting, you can access your mobile apps while immersed and stream media in a private cinema experience.
Conclusion:
HTC Desire 22 Pro is a great mid-range performer with a touch of metaverse being thrown into the mix. You also get a great 64MP triple primary camera and 32MP selfie camera to go with you anywhere you go, be it rain or shine. Knowing at the back of your mind, that the IP67 rating and Gorilla Glass is there in time of need.
HTC Desire 22 Pro will be available by July 2022 with an estimated price tag of 459 Euro. There are two colors to choose from, namely Wave Gold and Starry Night Black.
